Adamma McKinnon is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Emory University and John Marshall Law School. Prior to attending law school, she had the privilege of serving as a teacher for Atlanta Public Schools for seven years. She provided education to middle school students in the areas of Science and Language Arts. Her ability to educate and deduct simplicities from complex content have ensured her success as an attorney, no matter the area of the law.

 

Because of her love and intrigue with the entertainment industry, specifically music, Attorney McKinnon sought to cultivate a legal career in the arts, providing services to performing artists, producers, managers, radio personalities, alike. In providing such services, she quickly found that her skills and reputation for "closing the deal" lead to referrals to the industry's family members, employees, colleagues, and friends alike. Therefore she made a conscious decision to expand her legal practice into the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense and establish Adamma McKinnon Attorneys at Law P.C. in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ms. McKinnon’s Family Law practice has a specially developed niche to cater to the legal needs of Fathers in the Music, Television, and Professional Sports Industries, respectively. Attorney McKinnon focuses on “leveling the playing field” before the court of law, while assisting these Fathers with asserting their custodial rights, rights of visitation, and rights to reasonable child support before the Courts of Law throughout the United States.
